To The Husbands, Fathers, Brothers, & Sons
There are moments when you need to stop, look around, and truly appreciate the people who have been walking alongside you.
Today is one of those moments for me.
I want to say thank you.
Thank you for believing in the vision.Thank you for showing up.Thank you for trusting me enough to allow me to lead.Thank you for bringing your stories, your struggles, your victories, your questions, your wisdom, and your willingness to grow into this foxhole we call the Men’s Roundtable Series Podcast.
What we are building here is bigger than a podcast.
I have watched you brothers grow.
I’ve watched you become more intentional in how you communicate. I’ve watched you challenge yourselves spiritually. I’ve watched you become more honest about the things happening beneath the surface. I’ve watched you celebrate one another’s businesses, families, ministries, creative endeavors, relationships, and personal victories.
Some of you have experienced tremendous professional growth.
Some of you have strengthened your faith.
Some of you have confronted things emotionally that you once avoided.
Some of you have simply become more willing to say, “I need help.”
And brothers, that is growth too.
I want each of you to understand something:
I see you. I appreciate you. And I am grateful for you.
But I also need to share something personal.
Yesterday, I received a pretty significant reality check.
It reminded me that while I spend so much time trying to serve you, encourage you, challenge you, and help build you up...
I need that same thing too.
Probably more than I have been willing to pay attention to.
Sometimes the man who is encouraging everybody else forgets that he needs encouragement.
Sometimes the brother holding the flashlight for everyone else forgets that he needs someone to help him see, too.
Yesterday reminded me that none of us are exempt from needing community.
Not me.
Not you.
None of us.
And maybe that's part of the reason this vision matters so much.
We were never supposed to do this alone.
So, brothers, keep moving forward.
Keep praying for one another. 🙏🏾
Keep checking on one another.
Keep celebrating one another.
And, perhaps most importantly, take a step toward deeper fellowship and connection with the brothers beside you in this foxhole.
Don't just watch the conversation.
Join the conversation.
Don't just listen to somebody else's testimony.
Build relationships with the men who are walking through their own testimony.
Don't let this remain something that happens on a screen every week.
Take it into your homes.Take it into your churches.Take it into your businesses.Take it into your communities.Take it into your friendships.Take it into your families.
Because remember the vision:
What we are building here is duplicatable.
The Men's Roundtable Series isn't supposed to stop with us.
There is a husband in your community who needs this.
There is a father who doesn't know how to navigate what he's carrying.
There is a brother who has isolated himself.
There is a son who needs someone to show him what healthy brotherhood looks like.
There is a man who is smiling on the outside and quietly falling apart on the inside.
They need you.
And they need what we are building here.
So keep sharing the Men’s Roundtable Series Podcast with the husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons in your sphere of influence.
Not because we need more listeners.
Because men need men.
And sometimes one invitation, one conversation, one prayer, or one relationship can change the trajectory of a man's life.
🔵 Keep growing.🔴 Keep showing up.⚪ Keep praying.⚫ Keep building.🔵 Keep reaching back for the brother coming behind you.
And when you need somebody to reach back for you...
Let us know.
That's what this family is supposed to be.
I don't take lightly the trust you have placed in me to help lead this vision.
I don't take lightly the stories you've shared.
I don't take lightly the vulnerability you've demonstrated.
And I certainly don't take lightly the opportunity to walk alongside you.
I am your brother before I am your host.
I am your friend before I am your leader.
And I am in this foxhole with you.
Let's keep building.
Let's keep becoming.
Let's keep sharpening one another.
Let's keep making room for the man who hasn't found his way here yet.
And let's never forget why we started.
We don't just talk about brotherhood.
We practice it.
Thankfully and Thoughtfully,

Mista Yu
