We Don’t Have The Time We Think We Have

I’m wrestling with two realities:
Forever is a long time.
And we don’t have as much time as we tell ourselves.
Too many of us make permanent decisions based on temporary situations—driven by identity struggles, lack of clarity, limited perspective, and a painful lack of self-awareness.
At the same time, we measure life by the calendar when the real clock isn’t on the page. Every day we wake up is another opportunity to fulfill an assignment and walk in our purpose. The challenge is that none of us knows how much time remains.
Life isn’t an endless supply of tomorrows, but it isn’t a slow-motion death sentence either.
Think of it like driving with a gas gauge you can’t see. You know you’ve been filled, but you don’t know how much you’ve used or how far you have left to go. You just know that if you’re going to keep moving forward, you’ll need to be filled again.
So don’t waste today assuming you’ll always have another one. Live with purpose, stay filled, and make this day count.
